Stephen Griffin developed BecomeACFR.ie as part of the national Community First Responder communications initiative.
The project created a national website and CFR directory to help members of the public find an existing Community First Responder scheme or learn how to establish one with the support of the National Ambulance Service and CFR Ireland.
Stephen also served on the national CFR Communications Working Group. The official project page credits SG Websites among the development partners involved in the campaign.

Stephen Griffin was one of the founders of Carepack.ie and was responsible for the original technical platform used to connect members of the public with residents of nursing and care homes. He has since stepped away from the initiative.
Original Technical Platform
Carepack.ie needed a way to distribute thousands of individual resident references to volunteers around Ireland without charging participants for using the service.
Stephen designed and set up the original platform using a free shopping-cart model. An open-source software-licensing plugin was adapted so that individual resident references could effectively operate as zero-cost items organised by county.
Volunteers selected a county and were assigned resident details through the website, allowing the project to scale nationally while retaining a familiar e-commerce-style user experience.
